Michelle La Rue
I was born in Massachusetts and raised in a small town in Maine. In the early 1990’s I moved to the San Antonio area and decided to pursue a career in education. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and went on to become an 8th grade teacher at Kirby Middle School where I truly fell in love with teaching and working with children. In 2009, I graduated from Concordia University with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Advanced Literacy.
All of my educational career here in Judson ISD. I began my leadership journey as an Academic Dean and Assistant Principal at Park Village Elementary. In 2012, I transferred to Converse Elementary where I served as the Assistant Principal, and in 2016, I was honored to be named Principal of Rolling Meadows Elementary.
I have a strong academic background and am passionate in my belief that every child deserves to be believed in, inspired, and empowered to succeed. I am a strong believer that through hard work and embracing challenges ALL students can achieve excellence. At Rolling Meadows Elementary, we create an environment where mistakes are embraced as part of the learning process. Learning is a journey, and mistakes are the stepping-stones along the path to success.
Thank you for choosing Rolling Meadows Elementary and entrusting us with your child’s education.
