music Music Memory is open for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. We learn and study 16 popular classical pieces of music. There is a district wide contest with a team of 15 students from each campus. You will be tested on your listening skills, by being able to identify the piece of music with a 15 second excerpt from the piece. As the contest date approaches (usually in April) we take a pre-test. The top 5 third, top 5 fourth, and top 5 fifth grade scores will then compete and represent RME at the district contest!
